St. Louis Law Firms Raise $16,000 For Joplin Tornado Victims

Williams Venker & Sanders and Senniger Powers donated all proceeds to the American Red Cross-Ozark Chapter

The law firms of Williams Venker & Sanders LLC and Senniger Powers LLP came together on Thursday, June 2 to raise $16,000 for victims of the devastating tornado that hit Joplin, MO in May.

The donation was a result of a used book sale/bake sale and raffle organized by the staff of Williams Venker & Sanders with the two firms matching the amount raised by the event. The funds raised in one day’s work will be used to aid fellow Missourians in Joplin as they recover and rebuild what was lost in the damaging tornado.

"In addition to raising a substantial amount of money for the Ozark Chapter of the American Red Cross to benefit those in need, the striking generosity of our employees and the St. Louis community has been uplifting and inspirational."
