Fleischut Awarded Professional Degree In Metallurgical Engineering
Senniger Powers LLP is pleased to announce that Paul Fleischut was awarded a Professional Degree in Metallurgical Engineering at the May 7, 2011 general commencement exercises at Missouri University of Science & Technology in Rolla, Missouri. Chancellor John F. Carney III, who conferred the degree on Fleischut and seven other alumni based on faculty nominations, explained that the recipients' "professional achievements were a credit to the University." Of more than 65,000 graduates in the 140-year history of Missouri S&T, University of Missouri-Rolla, and Missouri School of Mines & Metallurgy, only about 1000 Professional Degrees have been awarded.
In addition to Fleischut, who had earned a Bachelor of Science in Metallurgical Engineering in 1985, Senniger Powers' attorneys Robert Bain, Michael Godar, Nancy Swiezynski, and Andrew Wegman have Bachelor of Science degrees in engineering from Missouri S&T. In all, 30 of the firm's attorneys and patent agents have degrees in engineering or hard science, which they use in their practices of patent prosecution, and in providing technical and scientific support to the firm's growing patent and complex litigation practice.
