USTR Releases Special 301 Report on IP Rights
The Office of the United States Trade Representative (USTR) recently released the 2010 Special 301 Report. The Report is an "annual review of the global state of intellectual property rights (IPR) protection and enforcement." The 2010 Report identifies several key significant developments, including successes in the Czech Republic, Hungary, and Poland in the fight against intellectual property theft, and serious problems of piracy and counterfeiting in China and other countries.
