Partner Paul Fleischut Featured on CNN Radio - As attorney Paul Fleischut explains in an interview that aired on CNN Radio on July 29, 2008, the New York US District Court in Tiffany Inc. v. eBay, Inc. ruled on July 14 that even though 75% of all Tiffany-branded products sold on eBay are counterfeit, eBay's anti-counterfeiting safeguards satisfy its legal obligations. Under the law, Tiffany bears the ultimate burden of policing its trademark and protecting its brand.

Supreme Court Rules in Quanta Computer v. LG Electronics

In a unanimous decision written by Justice Clarence Thomas, the Supreme Court held that, as in its prior Univis decision, "method" patent rights may be exhausted under circumstances that exhaust corresponding "product" patent rights. The text of the case can be read here.

Kathleen Petrillo Quoted in "The Pink Sheet"

In the April 11, 2008 issue of "The Pink Sheet," attorney Kathleen Petrillo comments on a recent court decision granting Teva Pharmaceuticals 180 days of market exclusivity for a generic version of the schizophrenia drug Risperdal (risperidone).
