Senniger Powers strongly believes in providing competitive compensation for our first-year associates. All associates are eligible for merit-based bonuses.

  • Senniger Powers provides comprehensive dental and medical plans, including life insurance, as well as long-term disability and long term care coverage.
  • Medical: The firm pays 80 percent of the premium to cover associates and their dependents under one of the most comprehensive plans available.
  • Life Insurance: The firm pays for $20,000 of life insurance ($45,000 AD&D). Supplemental coverage is available for associates and their dependents at nominal group rates.
  • Dental: The firm pays 80 percent of associates premiums in the dental plan. Dependent coverage is also available.
  • Long-Term Disability: The firm-sponsored group plan provides tax-free income protection to participants at a very nominal cost.
  • Long-Term Care: The firm pays the full premium for coverage, which pays an employee $2,000 a month if the employee requires long-term care as a result of illness or injury.
  • Cafeteria Plan: Associates realize a tax savings by paying medical and dental premiums through the firm’s cafeteria plan.
  • Employee Assistance Program: The firm provides an EAP for the benefit of associates and their dependents.

  • Bonus: All associates are eligible for annual bonus.
  • 401(k) Savings Plan: Associates may participate in the 401(k) Savings Plan after one years service.
  • Profit-Sharing Plan: After two years of service, associates are enrolled in the profit-sharing plan. The firm contributes an amount up to 8 percent of an associates total eligible earnings to the plan. Vesting is immediate, at 100 percent.
  • Parking: The firm pays the full cost of a monthly parking pass for its associates.
  • Paid Maternity Leave: The firm provides up to 12 weeks of paid maternity leave to associates who have been with the firm at least one year and have billed at least 1,000 hours during the one-year period immediately preceding maternity leave.

  • Professional Fees and Expenses: The firm pays for the bar review course, and registration expenses for the Missouri Bar exam. Annual bar dues are paid by the firm, as well as dues for membership in the local bar association and other professional memberships.
  • Continuing Legal Education: Senniger Powers has been accredited by the Missouri Bar to sponsor Continuing Legal Education programs. Programs on IP topics of interest and importance to the practice, covering both litigation and prosecution practice issues, are frequently held in house for the benefit of the firm’s attorneys.
  • Off-site workshops and seminars: Senniger Powers offers a wide variety of opportunities for its attorneys to participate in lectures, seminars and workshops held by professional organizations and universities.
