Professional Summary
Ms. Gillette's practice is concentrated in intellectual property litigation. She has been involved in litigation involving patent infringement, trade secret misappropriation, idea misappropriation, and unfair competition. Ms. Gillette's practice also includes the preparation and prosecution of patent applications. Her work focuses primarily upon the chemical and pharmaceutical fields.
Sara Gillette received her Bachelor of Science in Chemistry in 2001 from Rockhurst University in Kansas City. Ms. Gillette graduated from Saint Louis University School of Law where she was the president and reorganizing member of the Student Intellectual Property Law Association, and a regional semi-finalist of AIPLA's Giles Sutherland Rich Intellectual Property Moot Court competition. Sara Weilert Gillette was also on the Saint Louis University Public Law Review.
Ms. Gillette is a member of the Bar Association of Metropolitan St. Louis, American Intellectual Property Law Association, and St. Louis Lawyers Association.
