Mr. Brophy's practice encompasses many areas of complex civil litigation. His intellectual property practice includes litigation involving patent infringement, copyright infringement, trademark infringement, trademark dilution, trade dress infringement, trade secret misappropriation, antitrust, and unfair competition. His practice also includes the preparation and prosecution of mechanical patent applications.

Mr. Brophy received a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering in 2002 from the University of Illinois in Champaign/Urbana. He also received a Juris Doctorate from the Saint Louis University School of Law in 2007 with a heavy influence in intellectual property and antitrust law.

Mr. Brophy has years of experience in both aerospace engineering and computer science, and is an FAA licensed pilot.

Mr. Brophy is a member of the American Bar Association and the Bar Association of Metropolitan St. Louis.
