Professional Summary

Ms. Swiezynski's practice includes all areas of intellectual property law, with special emphasis in preparation and prosecution of U.S. and foreign patents relating to electronics, computer systems, software systems and business methods.

Ms. Swiezynski received her Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Missouri-Rolla, where she graduated summa cum laude. During her undergraduate career, Ms. Swiezynski interned for Electronic Data Systems, Emerson Process Management-PC&E, Anheuser-Busch Inc., and Pactiv Corporation. She received the Outstanding Electrical Engineer Award from the Grainger Foundation and was selected by the National Society of Women Engineers to receive the GTE Foundation scholarship. Ms. Swiezynski was a member of Tau Beta Pi, Eta Kappa Nu, Kappa Mu Epsilon and Phi Kappa Phi national honor societies.

While attending law school at the University of Missouri-Columbia, Ms. Swiezynski participated in the Women's Law Association and the Association of Intellectual Property and Entertainment Law. Ms. Swiezynski was awarded a scholarship from the National Chi Omega Foundation for her studies in law. Ms. Swiezynski received her Juris Doctorate from the University of Missouri-Columbia in 2006.

Ms. Swiezynski is currently a member of the Missouri Bar and the Bar Association of Metropolitan St. Louis.
