Professional Summary
Mr. Wegman's practice includes all areas of intellectual property law, with emphasis on the preparation and prosecution of patent applications in the chemical arts in the United States and abroad. Representative areas include pharmaceuticals, industrial chemicals, agricultural chemicals and the processes and apparatus utilized to produce these chemicals.
His experience includes obtaining patent protection for innovations in chemical engineering process design and control, catalysis, material separation, energy recovery and waste treatment. His client counseling responsibilities regularly require him to render assessments regarding patentability, freedom-to-operate and other intellectual property issues.
