Marc W. Vander Tuig was a co-presenter at the recently-held 2017 Federal Circuit Year in Review seminar at the Bar Association of Metropolitan St. Louis (BAMSL). Mr. Vander Tuig discussed significant cases decided by the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit in 2016, which addressed patent law decisions by the Patent Trial and Appeal Board (PTAB) involving PTAB procedures, covered business method eligibility, and estoppel issues. Mr. Vander Tuig also discussed important Federal Circuit decisions on issues related to divided infringement and inducement, and remedies, in particular enhanced damages, pre-issuance damages, and injunctions.

Mr. Vander Tuig concentrates his practice on high-stakes patent litigation in U.S. District Courts nationwide, appellate cases before the Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit, and proceedings before the PTAB. He serves as the Group Leader of the firm's PTAB Proceedings Practice.
